Judge Tucker joined the Court of Appeals in February of 2017.  He was a General Division Montgomery County Common Pleas Judge from 2001 – January 2017, serving for three years as the court’s Administrative Judge.

Judge Tucker graduated from the University of Dayton School of Law in 1980.  Judge Tucker was in the private practice of law for 20 years before becoming a judge.

Judge Tucker is a member of the Montgomery County Bar Association and The Ohio State and American Bar Associations.  Judge Tucker is a fellow of the Dayton Bar Association, past president of the Carl D. Kessler Inn of Court, and in 2013 he received the George J. Gounaris Judicial Recognition Award from the Miami Valley Trial Lawyers Association.  He lives in Kettering with his wife, Paula.  They have three adult daughters.
