The Second District Court of Appeals will return to in-person arguments starting July 13, 2021.  The court will continue to comply with the safety guidelines set forth by the Ohio Department of Health and the Montgomery County Health Department to maintain a safe environment for our staff and the public that we serve:

Masks: face coverings are optional for staff and public who have been vaccinated but required for those who are unvaccinated.

Social Distancing: the court will schedule one argument per time slot to reduce the number of people gathering in the courtroom and hallways.  Court business will be conducted remotely as needed.

Cleaning: high touch areas of the courtroom will be sanitized between arguments.

Health Monitoring: staff, parties, and the public should monitor themselves for the presence of COVID-19 symptoms before attending any in-person court proceeding and stay home if symptoms are present.  Arguments will be rescheduled as needed.
